Effectiveness

Solar bus stop illumination is a cost effective way to improve passenger services. The addition of lighting to bus stops and timetables provides a greater sense of safety for public transport users and makes essential schedules easier to read during evening hours.

Efficiency

Grid connection for bus stop lighting can involve a long wait and signifi cant expense. Solar lighting is the perfect solution to combat these problems, powered by a renewable and sustainable energy source it is a reliable and cost effective alternative to mains powered electricity.

Timetable Lighting

The back lighting to the timetable is easily activated via an anti-vandal, glowing push button which provides on-demand illumination to essential schedule information.

Downward lighting

Bright downward lighting is incorporated into the design to further enhance passenger security. By pressing an illuminated stainless steel button, is activated the LED's to create a comforting lighting around while waiting at the stop.

Solar Shelter lighting

Effectiveness

Illuminating bus shelters at night increases passenger security and the perception of safety for public transport users. Solar Bus shelter lighting gives the ability to illuminate shelters wherever they are needed, including remote areas where mains electricity is not an option.

Efficiency

Choosing a solar option means instant installation, no traffic disruption and eliminates the cost and delays associated with traditional grid connection. Thanks to the built in Passive Infra Red technology, light level gently increase and remain fully activated until passenger has vacated the immediate area.

Functioning details

Efficency of Tecnology

The system maintains a constant low level of illumination until a passenger enters the shelter and activates the built in Passive Infra Red technology (PIR). The light level will then gently increase and remain fully activated until the passenger has vacated the immediate area.

Working on winter

The Solar shelter Lighting, is equipped with the Energy Optimiser TM which is specifically designed to manage solar energy charge. Regulating the output of the LED drivers, ensures that the system operates at optimum performance throughout the winter period.
